OUR STORY
In 1954, Ray and Selma Leeds founded America's Best Company, otherwise known as ABCO ART inc. The building was orringally a commercial graphic art studio and comercial sign business owned and opperated by Ray Leeds until 1954, when it was converted into an art supply and custom framing store. Selma built up the businees and established a good reputation in the community with her kind nature and her desire to help people achive thier artistic goals. After their son Ronald graduated college, he joined the Peace Corps and served several years in El Salvador. Upon his return, he entered the family business, helping to create a thirving company. Thier daughter, and current owner of the store, Arleen began working at ABCO after college until she got a job as an art teacher for almost 30 years. After her retirment, she came back to ABCO and hasn't left since. Today, ABCO ART is a trusted busness as it has been for the last 60 years. Thier mission is to preserve peoples memories and prized posessions in a timeless and beautiful way.
